Zonal Credit Manager, Lagos (Nigeria)

What you will do

• Support the Credit Manager in developing improved credit, collections, and operational processes.
• Recommend enhancements to policies and procedures to reduce operational risks.
• Prepare field reports, presentations, findings, and recommendations.
• Conduct periodic process spot checks and support implementation of audit recommendations.
• Investigate fraud cases, collect relevant data, interview claimants, and recommend actions.
• Identify and classify potential default risks through customer interaction and data collection, while reporting red flags promptly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in control, compliance, or risk.
• Previous experience in a microfinance institution or bank.
• Strong data collection, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Excellent fraud detection and investigation abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Multilingual communication skills in English and Yoruba are required.
