Field Loan Collections Officer (Fintech)

Location: In-person in FCT, Nigeria

What you will do

• Visit defaulting borrowers at their physical locations and manage assigned recovery cases.
• Engage and negotiate with customers to secure repayments under loan agreement terms.
• Recover collateral assets, items, or goods in accordance with approved procedures.
• Prepare daily reports covering customer engagements and recovery activities.
• Escalate complex or unresolved cases while maintaining professionalism and compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience in field debt recovery or collections.
• Knowledge of field recovery methods, negotiation techniques, and loan default processes.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed recovery targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across field-based, on-site coverage areas.
• Strong communication skills in English and Nigerian Pidgin.
• Integrity, organisation, independence, and adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
