Master Data Implementation Specialist | Production Planning (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in South Burlington, Vermont, United States

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Facilitate reviews of new engineering designs for aircraft systems.
• Analyze GD&T tolerances and engineering drawings to assess design manufacturability and identify release errors.
• Coordinate product lifecycle management from ideation through engineering change implementation in PLM and ERP systems.
• Define the scope of change-management initiatives and create related documentation.
• Maintain and improve the ERP system to support production processes and manufacturing capability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment and an engineering degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of PLM systems such as SmarTeam, 3DX, or Siemens, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor.
• Operational knowledge of GD&T according to ASME Y14.5 and familiarity with Design for Manufacturability analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including tolerances, notes, revision history, and BOM references.
• Understanding of manufacturing capacity planning, machine-shop operations, machining processes, lead times, and resource constraints.
• Experience analyzing 3D scan and CMM measurement data for dimensional conformance and engineering change decisions.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• Plex ERP experience.
• Experience with rapid manufacturing growth or a startup.
