Laboratory Analyst in Training (Chemistry)

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, United States; onsite work in a production laboratory

What you will do

• Conduct basic procedures supporting general chemistry laboratory operations.
• Manage sample login, handling, and disposal.
• Complete data entry, initial data reduction, and initial data review.
• Prepare laboratory ware and perform standard procedures such as aliquoting and digestions.
• Operate basic laboratory instruments and equipment while following written and verbal instructions.
• Work independently toward productivity goals and support hirify.global’s core values.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Chemistry or Biology.
• Experience operating basic laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a busy laboratory with potential exposure to chemicals and hazardous or radioactive materials.
• Availability for schedules that may include one or both weekends, with starts at noon or 4 p.m.
