Lab Chemist I (Chemistry)

What you will do

• Perform routine chemical and physical analyses of samples using established procedures.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain basic laboratory instrumentation under supervision.
• Complete calibration logs, run logs, analytical records, and other required documentation.
• Apply QA/QC guidelines, regulatory requirements, SOPs, and hirify.global safety protocols.
• Manage laboratory supplies, housekeeping, inventory, and waste disposal.
• Work under senior laboratory personnel and complete assigned duties, including annual SOP reviews and quizzes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 0–3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• DOT training and 24-hour or 40-hour OSHA training with annual refresher updates are required.
• Knowledge of mathematics, chemistry principles, and chemical testing techniques.
• Strong organizational, time-management, teamwork, and computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for 4–6 hours per shift, climb ladders, perform repetitive physical tasks, and work safely with required PPE.
