Location: Carlsbad, California, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to maintain an active United States Top Secret/SCI clearance. Travel of up to 20% is expected.
Salary: $119,000–$188,500 annually. For specific work locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area: $148,500–$222,500 annually.

What you will do
- Lead multiple concurrent technical development programs delivering satellite communications solutions for space vehicles across all orbit regimes.
- Direct cross-functional teams and coordinate personnel and resource allocation with functional and matrixed leadership.
- Plan, monitor, and control program cost, schedule, performance, and risk using earned value management, variance analysis, and program dashboards.
- Oversee subcontractor procurement and performance across the subcontract management lifecycle.
- Provide program execution, financial status, and risk reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead proposal cost estimates and contribute program management content to capture and business development activities.
Requirements
- At least seven years of progressive program or project management experience on complex technical development programs.
- Experience with earned value management, cost and schedule control, variance analysis, risk management, and performance reporting.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracting and development program execution.
- Experience managing supplier relationships, including Statement of Work development, performance tracking, and risk or issue escalation.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility to maintain an active United States Top Secret/SCI clearance are required.
Nice to have
- Active U.S. Government security clearance with SSBI/SCI eligibility.
- PMP certification or equivalent and a relevant master’s degree.
- Experience with U.S. Government proposals and defense systems engineering, integration, production, or sustainment.
- Experience supporting integrated space mission programs involving space vehicles, ground segments, operations, payloads, or electronics.
- Experience performing first-order, system-level analyses for technical and programmatic decisions.
