Senior Global Supply Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $154,000–$215,500 USD per year, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Lead sourcing strategy and NPI supply-chain program management for assigned product families from concept through prototype builds, low-rate initial production, and high-rate production.
• Run supplier selection, RFX processes, commercial analysis, recommendations, and award decisions for new products and strategic requirements.
• Partner with Engineering and Product Development on part-specific sourcing, prototype purchasing, design-for-manufacturing opportunities, and supplier readiness.
• Track material requirements, supplier lead times, release dependencies, and sourcing risks to keep development builds and production ramps on schedule.
• Drive cost-down initiatives, supplier negotiations, alternate sourcing, contract improvements, and commercial agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships, QBRs, scorecards, supplier categorization, approved supplier list governance, and item master data.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, global supply management, supply-chain program management, commodity management, or a related role.
• Experience supporting NPI programs, prototype builds, production ramps, or fast-changing product-development environments.
• Experience selecting suppliers, running RFX/RFQ processes, negotiating commercial terms, and managing supplier relationships.
• Experience reducing supplier risk, including sole-source mitigation, lead-time reduction, cost-down execution, and contract improvements.
• Strong commercial judgment, negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to work onsite in Torrance, California, and support a high-intensity defense technology manufacturing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience sourcing mechanical, electrical, PCB/PCBA, harness, optics, camera, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, robotics, or other hardware commodities.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, LTAs, tiered pricing agreements, payment terms, and cancellation clauses.
• Experience with supplier scorecards, QBRs, ASLs, supplier categorization, DFM, supplier capability assessments, or supplier industrialization.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, drones, robotics, high-growth manufacturing, or startup hardware environments.
