Business Operations Analyst (AI Insurance)

Location: New York City, United States; in-office work

Salary: $90,000–$130,000 per year plus equity for candidates based in the United States.

What you will do

• Analyze end-to-end Risk team workflows, including client requests, handoffs, bottlenecks, and industry-specific operating differences.
• Identify and lead high-impact initiatives to improve quality, speed, and operational efficiency.
• Define performance, capacity, and operational health metrics across Risk teams.
• Build reporting and capacity-planning systems to support hiring, resource allocation, and performance management.
• Design and improve standard operating procedures, ownership models, team structures, and role profiles.
• Partner with Product to convert operational pain points into a prioritized automation and technology roadmap.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in management consulting or a similarly rigorous strategy and operations role.
• Strong structured problem-solving skills, hypothesis formation, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to define solutions in ambiguous situations and move independently from analysis to implementation.
• Systems-thinking approach combined with attention to workflow, data, and daily execution details.
• Ability to build scalable solutions, align senior leaders, and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
