Project Manager - Spend Optimization Services

Location: May be based in Austin, Texas, USA; Somerset, New Jersey, USA; or Milton Keynes, UK. Travel is required as business needs dictate.

Salary: $70,000–$120,000 per year, depending on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.

What you will do

• Manage assigned customer engagements and internal initiatives from initiation through closure.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, communications, and documentation.
• Coordinate project teams, stakeholders, consultants, partners, and customer contacts across workstreams.
• Facilitate kickoffs, project meetings, status reviews, and follow-up discussions.
• Track project health, risks, issues, action items, scope changes, budgets, forecasts, resources, and milestones.
• Lead corrective action plans, recovery activities, lessons learned, and PMO continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of IT project management experience.
• Experience managing projects from initiation through closure, including execution, communications, risks, issues, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies, including Scrum facilitation.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with project governance, scheduling, reporting, RAID management, escalation support, decision tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with software licensing, IT infrastructure, ITAM, SAM, and professional services delivery.

Nice to have

• PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, PMI-ACP, CSM, ITIL, or equivalent certification.
• Two or more years of experience in SAM, ITAM, consulting, professional services, or related service delivery environments.
• Knowledge of the IT lifecycle, including licensing, purchasing, deployment, optimization, renewals, and vendor considerations.
• Experience with process improvement, project recovery, corrective action planning, delivery governance, or onboarding support.
• Second-language proficiency, preferably French.
