What you will do

• Manage finance cycles including reconciliations, management accounts, expenses, invoicing, and budget tracking.
• Own people operations such as payroll, onboarding, contracts, benefits, and employee documentation.
• Coordinate advisors and compliance including payroll providers, pension, healthcare, banks, insurers, legal counsel, and statutory filings.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and infrastructure commitments.
• Oversee the London office environment, equipment, suppliers, and support team events.
• Document and automate manual workflows and processes.
• Prepare reporting inputs for board materials, investor updates, and collaborate with German colleagues and suppliers.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in London and work on-site
• 4+ years in operations or similar roles, preferably in startups or fast-moving tech companies.
• Experience managing systems and improving operational processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable with spreadsheets and financial judgment.
• Familiarity with AI tools and daily use of AI technologies.
• Experience with companies of 15-60 people and venture-backed operations.
• Knowledge of multi-entity, multi-currency operations, especially UK and Germany.
• Familiarity with Xero, payroll platforms, HRIS (Personio, Bob), expense tools, Carta, Notion, and Google Workspace.
• Interest in AI, machine learning, computer vision, 3D technology, or deep tech.
