Chief of Staff (AI)

Location: London, UK, with frequent travel to Berlin to work in person with the founders and team. Right to work in the UK is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead Cortea's UK market entry, including team growth, local presence, process adaptation, hiring, and go-to-market execution.
• Act as a proxy for the founders in internal and external meetings, keeping decisions and projects on track.
• Lead high-impact strategic initiatives from conception through completion, including pricing and sales-to-onboarding optimisation.
• Build repeatable processes, meeting cadences, communication loops, and AI-powered automations for a scalable operating system.
• Work across Growth, Strategy, Finance, and Operations to turn company priorities into operational results.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or a high-growth VC-backed startup.
• Strategic operating ability, combining market-level thinking with hands-on execution in spreadsheets and legal contracts.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, financial modelling, and SaaS metrics.
• Ability to communicate complex AI concepts and financial data clearly to investors and internal teams.
• High agency and comfort working in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments.
• Native English and the right to work in the UK are required; frequent travel to Berlin is expected. Visa sponsorship is not available.
