VP of Operations

Location: On-site in San Francisco, CA or London, UK

Salary: $180,000–$250,000 per year, plus equity options

What you will do

• Own and improve company-wide operational systems, processes, and scalable workflows.
• Drive cross-functional execution across insurance operations, finance, legal, people, product, and leadership.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
• Develop KPIs, reporting, and operational performance metrics.
• Manage vendor, partner, and operational relationships.
• Build operational teams, internal controls, documentation, and operating discipline as the company scales.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in operations, business management, consulting, or related leadership roles.
• Experience building systems and processes in high-growth or complex environments.
• Strong judgment, organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Ability to work across functions, influence without bureaucracy, and solve problems analytically.
• Comfort owning both strategic decisions and day-to-day execution.
• Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, CA or London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience managing multi-entity or operationally complex businesses.
• Experience leading teams and building operational functions from the ground up.
