Senior Operational Excellence Program Manager (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; territories excluded. Reliable, high-speed internet required.

Base compensation: $100,000–$125,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Lead operational excellence and transformation programs across at least two business domains.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and build improvement portfolios aligned with business objectives.
• Manage complex initiatives from discovery through delivery, including process architecture, governance, resource allocation, and timelines.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, structured problem-solving, and first-principles thinking to improve operational performance.
• Design AI-assisted workflows, agent skills, guardrails, exception paths, and low-code operational tools.
• Influence department heads and VP-level stakeholders, build consensus, and coach teams on operational improvement methods.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, program management, or a related field.
• 3+ years leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs across different business areas.
• Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Master, or PMP certification with relevant project experience; advanced methodology certifications are preferred.
• Proven success leading large-scale transformation programs with documented metrics and sustained results.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, stakeholder influence, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with technology or product organizations, agile methodologies, operational systems, data analytics, process mapping, dashboards, and applying AI to workflow redesign or automation.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Exposure to agentic automation and low-code operational tooling.
• Advanced credentials such as Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Advanced Lean, PgMP, PMI-ACP, PMI-RMP, CSM, or Prosci Change Management.
