PRN - Registered Nurse - Occupational Health - Texarkana, AR

Location: Texarkana, Arkansas, United States; onsite, part-time position.

Pay range: $35.00–$45.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide direct and indirect employee health care using established protocols and current standards of care.
• Collect medical histories, vital signs, laboratory specimens, and point-of-care diagnostic tests.
• Administer injections, vaccinations, and medications, and perform phlebotomy and wound care.
• Support triage and follow-up for contagious illnesses, workplace injuries, tuberculosis testing, and bloodborne pathogen exposures.
• Maintain employee health documentation, immunization records, medical supplies, and confidential files.
• Educate patients and collaborate with providers, clients, and internal departments on wellness programs and health events.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in nursing required; bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• At least 3 years of healthcare experience, including phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, and wound care.
• Current registered nurse certification and active license required.
• Phlebotomy certification and CPR/BLS certification required.
• Occupational health experience is strongly preferred; occupational health certification is preferred.
• Electronic medical record experience and knowledge of HIPAA requirements required.

• Experience with office procedures, confidential files, and medical terminology.
• Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 skills.
• Process improvement, critical thinking, organization, and customer service experience.
