Nurse (RN) (Behavioral Health)

Salary: $36.00–$40.00 per hour plus bonus structure

What you will do

• Administer methadone according to physician orders and maintain medication accountability.
• Screen and assess new and current patients for treatment and dosing appropriateness.
• Observe patients after medication administration and monitor physical examinations and laboratory work.
• Collect urine specimens, document results, maintain dosing records, and reconcile medication inventories.
• Receive medication shipments, prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages, and report medication discrepancies.
• Participate in treatment team meetings, staff training, quality improvements, and accreditation activities.

Requirements

• Active LPN/LVN or RN license in Minnesota required.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Accurate data entry skills and basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to work independently under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and react quickly.
• Knowledge of dosing equipment, centrifuges, physical assessment tools, test strips, breathalyzers, and standard office equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Phlebotomist certification or willingness to obtain it if required.
