Service Delivery Analyst Specialists (Unix/Linux, SQL, Python)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for a software production processing environment, including application code, subsystems, and third-party software.
• Detect, diagnose, escalate, and resolve application incidents, problems, and known errors.
• Support programming and development teams with application analysis, requirements definition, system design, technical specifications, and project delivery.
• Maintain application documentation, operational reporting metrics, service-level monitoring, and product availability, capacity, and performance.
• Provide 24-hour application support, production validation, change-management review, and development-to-production turnover.
• Support application security administration, audits, and application-specific disaster recovery activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Application, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus seven years of progressively responsible experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus five years of experience.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and using awk, sed, and grep.
• Experience using SQL to research and analyze financial data and to write and optimize queries for financial reporting systems.
• Experience with Bash and Python scripting for operational-support automation.
• Ability to read and debug code to determine the root cause of application issues.
