Associate Linux/Window Engineer (Platform Services)

Location: Bala Cynwyd (Philadelphia Area), Pennsylvania, United States. The role requires willingness to work rotating shifts: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., and 11:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Help build and manage large-scale compute, storage, and trade-focused infrastructure.
• Rotate across Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, and open-source platform technologies.
• Build environments, evaluate applications, tune performance, automate processes, and manage configurations.
• Troubleshoot application, network, hardware, and infrastructure issues with technology teams.
• Test and implement solutions in onsite laboratories containing physical and virtual servers.
• Evaluate emerging server hardware, container platforms, and high-performance clustered environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and networking concepts.
• Strong personal initiative, communication skills, and interest in solving complex technical problems.
• Willingness to work the specified rotating production and support shifts.
• Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Linux, Windows, computer systems, or networks is advantageous.
