Maintenance Technician IV (Manufacturing)

Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. Onsite D Shift schedule: Wednesday to Friday, rotating Saturdays, 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, calibration, and documentation for production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment failures.
• Use schematics, diagnostic equipment, gauges, hand tools, and test equipment to identify root causes and improve reliability.
• Identify recurring failures and create or improve preventive-maintenance procedures.
• Support capital, engineering, manufacturing-process, and minor building-infrastructure projects.
• Maintain safe, clean, and compliant production and facility environments.

Requirements

• Associate or technical degree with at least five years of direct equipment-maintenance experience, or equivalent experience with proven results.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, troubleshooting discipline, and communication skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour shift on your feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while following department safety procedures.
• Must be able to work onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon, on the specified overnight shift.

Nice to have

• Experience diagnosing hydraulic systems and troubleshooting pneumatic systems, including Parker and SMC systems.
• High- and low-voltage electrical experience with 12V, 24V, 120V, and 480V systems.
• Experience training junior maintenance personnel.
