Salary: $39.00–$53.40 per hour

What you will do
- Design, test, check out, fabricate, modify, troubleshoot, and assemble complex electronic and electromechanical systems, prototypes, circuitry, tools, and test fixtures.
- Resolve system-level and component-level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems independently.
- Perform complex new-system and NPI installations, field upgrades, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing.
- Investigate issues, compile data, document findings, and recommend changes that improve product and manufacturing performance.
- Develop technical reports, test procedures, logbooks, and engineering documentation while collaborating across departments.
- Train junior Engineering Technicians, provide platform expertise, support standard work, and assist with resource planning and quality leadership.
Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the relevant technical discipline.
- In-depth understanding of coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and related teams.
- Strong problem-solving, judgment, technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work from limited or no documentation and resolve problems across diverse technical areas.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, working in tight spaces, lifting, and using hand and power tools.
- Ability to work in clean-room environments with required personal protective equipment and operate heavy machinery, including forklifts.
