Senior Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; on-site. Two shifts are available: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, modify, and upgrade complex mechanical and electromechanical equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using maintenance software.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship while coordinating with operations, engineering, and external vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 7+ years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience with advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems; PLC experience is a plus.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and work independently in an industrial environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, work in confined spaces and at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds; overtime, weekend, and on-call work may be required.

Nice to have

• Technical or vocational training and an electrical or mechanical degree, or equivalent experience.
• CMMS experience.
• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
• Lean manufacturing or reliability-centered maintenance experience.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
