Senior Maintenance Technician (Mechanical and Electrical Systems)

What you will do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical and electromechanical production equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Lead maintenance activities for production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Install, modify, and upgrade machinery while maintaining accurate records and work orders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to maintenance staff and coordinate with operations, engineering, and external vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training and an electrical or mechanical degree are preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of industrial or facilities maintenance experience with advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics, plus working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation and use precision measuring tools and maintenance software.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds; comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in industrial environments.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as needed.

Nice to have

• PLC, CMMS, welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
• Experience with lean manufacturing or reliability-centered maintenance.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
