Project Manager (Marketing Operations)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid with office attendance required 3 days per week

Salary: $121,000–$165,000 annual salary, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Audit and map complex marketing and operational workflows, including intake, handoffs, dependencies, approvals, and failure modes.
• Lead cross-functional coordination across Growth, Acquisition, Data Science, Commercial Operations, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Build intake models, ownership frameworks, escalation paths, launch-readiness checkpoints, dashboards, alerts, and workflow documentation.
• Create troubleshooting and triage workflows and translate technical dependencies into project plans, milestones, handoffs, and decisions.
• Manage program budgets, purchase orders, expenses, and visibility into platform, vendor, contractor, and campaign costs.
• Improve operating models by standardizing, automating, simplifying, or reassessing processes and establishing PMO mechanisms across related workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of project management, business operations, marketing operations, or similar cross-functional experience.
• Experience leading initiatives involving process mapping, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and operational execution.
• Experience improving workflows across multiple teams, systems, and handoffs.
• Experience using project management and workflow tools to manage timelines, dependencies, ownership, and status visibility.
• Ability to identify operational gaps, drive follow-through, and coordinate teams with different priorities.

Nice to have

• Experience in growth marketing operations, lifecycle or enrollment marketing, implementation, or commercial operations.
• Experience with RACI models, SLAs, launch-readiness processes, dashboards, alerts, and workflow documentation.
• Experience coordinating issue triage across multiple stakeholder groups and systems.
• Familiarity with automation, AI-assisted operations, workflow tooling, change management, and operational scaling.
• PMP, Six Sigma, or a similar project management certification.
