What you will do

• Obtain, verify, and follow up on insurance authorizations and eligibility for scheduled radiology exams.
• Contact insurance companies to secure prior authorizations and predeterminations for exams ordered by providers.
• Compare submitted insurance information with carrier databases and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain CPT code authorization files based on managed care contracts.
• Enter authorization data accurately and apply CPT codes matching the approved exam.
• Coordinate with supervisors, modality protocol staff, clinical managers, and technologists on complex cases and workflow accuracy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
