Training Lead - Guidewire (Guidewire)

Location: Richmond, VA; hybrid work arrangement. US work authorization required.

Salary: $88,000–$110,000 base annually, with a 25% incentive.

What you will do

• Lead training design, development, and delivery across the Guidewire portfolio for the United States and Bermuda.
• Conduct training needs assessments and develop role-based curricula, learning paths, eLearning content, simulations, job aids, and performance support materials.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, train-the-trainer, workshop, and end-user learning programs.
• Partner with business subject-matter experts, Change Management, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to align training with business processes and release objectives.
• Assess learner readiness and proficiency, track participation and completion, and measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and adoption metrics.
• Support post-go-live coaching, knowledge retention, lessons learned, and continuous improvement across Guidewire releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Change Management, or Organizational Effectiveness.
• Experience designing and delivering training for large-scale technology implementations.
• Strong instructional design experience, including curriculum development, eLearning, job aids, and performance support tools.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
• Must have US work authorization; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Insurance industry and/or Guidewire experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT for instructional design, content creation, training administration, and learning analytics.
• Ability to translate complex business and technology concepts into clear, engaging learning experiences.
• Experience creating role-based learning programs that improve user proficiency and adoption.
