AGS Training Service DDP New Product (NPI) Instructor III - (E3)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite role based in SCLA. Requires domestic and international travel, stated as up to 40% in the role description and 50% in the additional information. Relocation eligible.

Salary: $96,500–$132,500 per year

What you will do

• Learn new DDP PLC/NPI tools, chambers, and mainframes, including startup and sustaining production activities.
• Develop, update, and deliver classroom, hands-on, and factory on-the-job training for semiconductor equipment.
• Lead multiple NPI training development projects, coordinate project team members, and manage course materials and revisions.
• Conduct training needs assessments, gather technical information from product experts, and maintain product and procedural knowledge.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support, maintain training equipment, and ensure safety retrofits and system functionality.
• Coach and certify instructors, address customer training needs, and present courses at company and customer sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, education, or training plus 4 years of professional semiconductor equipment experience, or 6 years of experience without a bachelor’s degree.
• DDP experience, including Producer GT or XP MF experience and DDP Chamber experience.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment installation, programming, safety, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• At least 2 years of formal or informal education, performance-based training, or training and presentation delivery experience is required to attain the FKA Instructional Developer designation within the first year.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, teamwork, project and information management, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, calibrations, alignments, analog and digital electronics troubleshooting, tools, measuring instruments, and testing equipment.

Nice to have

• Nationally recognized certification in instructional design or 2 years of curriculum development or instructional design experience.
• Knowledge of MS Windows applications and computer networking.
• Videography and photography experience.
