Software Engineer – Entry Level

Location: Remote within the United States; U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance are required.

Builds secure Software Factories for federal agencies using cloud, DevSecOps, AI/ML, data science, blockchain, and microservices technologies.

What you will do

• Support software design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation under senior engineer guidance.
• Translate project requirements into working software components.
• Follow Agile software development practices and participate in code reviews.
• Help identify and resolve technical issues and defects.
• Document assigned work and communicate status, questions, and blockers.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of relevant software development or technical experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language and basic SDLC understanding.
• Ability to work under supervision in a team, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance or suitability determination.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments and Git.
• Coursework or internship experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or AWS Cloud Practitioner.
• Willingness to learn new tools, languages, and frameworks.
