Software Engineer - Sr. Consultant Level

Location: US - Bellevue, WA; at least 3 days in the office

Salary: $152,200–$243,700 USD per year, with potential bonus and equity eligibility.

What you will do

• Partner with product owners to refine requirements, shape roadmaps, and adapt delivery plans across product teams.
• Own and improve an enterprise-wide risk platform supporting collaborative idea sharing from ideation through delivery.
• Design, implement, enhance, deploy, and operate end-to-end systems and shared technologies for hirify.global products.
• Architect robust, scalable solutions integrated with internal technical systems and external services.
• Apply GenAI, copilots, and agents across the SDLC and DevOps to improve delivery speed, quality, and security.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and engineering guidance focused on operational excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and at least 5 years of directly related experience; or bachelor's degree and at least 8 years; or 11 years of directly related experience.
• Experience with at least one high-level programming language such as Java, Python, C#, or Golang.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, Cassandra, or MongoDB.
• Experience architecting, building, deploying, and operating highly available, fault-tolerant, elastic microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in REST, GraphQL, or gRPC API design, event-driven architectures, and message queues.
• Ability to work from the Bellevue office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience using GenAI, copilots, and agentic software to improve SDLC agility, quality, and security.
• Experience building AI-powered product capabilities.
• Familiarity with React or Angular frontend development.
• Experience developing or integrating with Governance, Risk, and Compliance platforms.
