Embedded Legal Engineer (AI)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace

Salary: $100,000–$145,000 per year, excluding potential bonuses, benefits, and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design and build custom applications, integrations, and workflows that eliminate manual legal processes.
• Wrangle data and use AI and Large Language Models to accelerate critical operations.
• Shape team strategy and drive projects from ideation through deployment.
• Build embedded relationships with user groups and key stakeholders across the Legal Team.
• Scale internal legal operations by building on hirify.global’s software platforms.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.
• Hands-on experience using Large Language Models to enhance operations.
• Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in an evolving environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects from ideation to deployment.
