Manufacturing Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Billerica, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 pm–6:30 am

Salary: $21–$25 per hour, depending on experience

What you will do

• Operate manufacturing equipment and perform inspection, data collection, trimming, testing, fixturing, assembly, and packaging.
• Verify products visually against specifications, take corrective action, and escalate quality issues.
• Complete production reports, rack tickets, labels, component sheets, rework sheets, SAP transactions, and other required documentation.
• Maintain accurate charts for rejected materials, manufacturing processes, and good-product counts.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities, including 6S and Kaizen events.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area, use required personal protective equipment, and report potential hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and understand documented processes and procedures.
• Attention to detail, basic math, and computer data-entry skills.
• Ability to use measuring devices and hand or power tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb a ladder up to 15 feet, and stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive pinching, grasping, twisting, bending, reaching, and handling of small components.

• One year of manufacturing experience.
