Manufacturing Tech II (Medical Devices)

Location: St Paul, Minnesota, United States; on-site manufacturing-floor work

Salary: $40,000–$55,000 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses

What you will do

• Manufacture, assemble, process, and package medical device products.
• Cut, weigh, and process tissue; mix solutions; wash components and equipment.
• Wrap components for sterilization and prepare devices for sterilization.
• Assemble or glue components and package, seal, label, and finalize products.
• Operate production equipment such as sealers, autoclaves, and stir plates.
• Clean production areas, distribute supplies, and follow safety, GMP, GDP, and hazardous-material procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry-level position; previous manufacturing experience is not required.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand or sit for at least eight hours, handle objects frequently, and lift up to 25 pounds individually or 65 pounds with a team lift.

Nice to have

• Experience working in clean-room environments or with medical device manufacturing procedures.
• Familiarity with hazardous materials, hazardous waste handling, storage, labeling, neutralization, and dilution systems.
