Manufacturing Technician

Location: Onsite at the Burnet, Texas facility, United States. Multiple shifts are available: 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2pm–11pm; or 3-2-2-3 day shifts, 6am–6pm, or night shifts, 6pm–6am, after training and certification.

Salary: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot canisters and containers in a hazardous chemical environment.
• Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, quality, and safety teams to meet production and customer requirements.
• Identify solutions to manufacturing problems and contribute improvement ideas.
• Maintain accountability, integrity, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safety and quality.
• Work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends when needed to support business requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical or technical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Previous experience handling hazardous chemicals is strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift or move up to 51 pounds daily and perform visual inspections while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to obtain respirator certification and handle highly hazardous materials responsibly.
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; SAP and PLC experience are beneficial.

Nice to have

• Experience working in an ISO 9000 or ISO 14000 environment.
• Experience with SAP or PLC systems.
