What you will do

• Support a primary care physician in delivering patient care and an exceptional patient experience.
• Escort patients, prepare examination rooms, review medical information, and collect updated health data.
• Take vital signs, perform blood draws, administer medications and immunizations, bandage wounds, and assist with procedures.
• Schedule patients, manage check-in and check-out, process medical record requests, coordinate referrals, and support specialist visits.
• Document patient information accurately, process test results, and communicate results as directed.
• Participate in patient outreach and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant; primary care experience is preferred.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant or related program.
• National or state-specific Medical Assistant certification or registration is strongly preferred and required where mandated by the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is required by the start date.

Nice to have

• Phlebotomy experience.
