What you will do

• Provide relationship-based primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, urgent visits, and health education.
• Perform occupational health screenings, workplace injury and illness evaluations, and fitness-for-duty examinations.
• Interpret spirometry results and resting EKGs, and provide care for workplace exposures, musculoskeletal injuries, lacerations, and foreign-body injuries.
• Coordinate with employers and workers’ compensation insurers on case management, disability claims, and return-to-work consultations.
• Identify required work-related titers and vaccinations.
• Assess workplace hazards and collaborate with client managers on health and safety policies, protective measures, prevention, and treatment plans.

Requirements

• Active nurse practitioner license and current ANCC or AANP board certification.
• At least 2 years of internal medicine or family/general practice experience required.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Independent practice authority preferred where applicable under state regulations.
• Federal DEA number preferred and potentially required for full prescribing authority.
• Occupational medicine experience and independent family practice experience preferred.
