Director of IT Client Services (Cybersecurity)

Location: Fully remote within the Continental United States; candidates residing in California, Hawaii, and Alaska are not eligible. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. Up to 5% travel may be required. Eastern or Central time zone availability is a plus.

Salary: $155,000–$170,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the trusted technical contact for key clients and translate business needs into effective IT solutions.
• Build client relationships and collaborate with Customer Success and Sales.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, configure security scanners, and troubleshoot partner solutions.
• Establish scalable processes, standards, and IT Service Management practices aligned with ITIL.
• Monitor service performance, report on client satisfaction and project milestones, and drive continuous improvement.
• Help build, train, and develop the Client IT Services team as the function grows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT experience, including direct client-facing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Hands-on expertise with Endpoint Detection & Response technologies and Multi-Factor Authentication.
• Experience conducting and remediating vulnerability scans and penetration tests.
• Strong client relationship management, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL, COBIT, ITSM platforms, and related industry standards.

Nice to have

• Automotive industry experience.
• CISSP or CCSP certification.
• Availability aligned with Eastern or Central time zones.
