Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 (Washington DC based)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end intelligence production pipeline, from research intake to final publication.
• Manage the production schedule and release calendar for intelligence reports, blogs, and briefings.
• Serve as the final quality gate, conducting fact-checks and editorial reviews for technical accuracy.
• Translate raw researcher notes into clear, concise, and impactful narratives for diverse audiences.
• Develop and enforce style guides, classification standards, and best-practice reporting templates.
• Mentor and coach technical writers and analysts on writing craft and intelligence tradecraft.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a threat intelligence role within the Five Eyes (FVEY) community.
• 7+ years of combined experience in technical writing, cybersecurity research, or intelligence analysis.
• Minimum 3 years of technical copy editing experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading or managing a threat intelligence reporting or production function.
• Strong understanding of intrusion analysis, malware, adversary TTPs, and network defense strategies.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for export-controlled technology.

Nice to have

• Experience using AI and LLM tools to accelerate research and production workflows.
• Certifications such as CISSP or GIAC GCTI.
• Portfolio of published, public-facing threat intelligence reports or blog posts.
• Experience presenting threat research at industry conferences like Black Hat or RSA.
