Compliance Manager (CMMC/NIST)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid work available

Salary: $125,000–$140,000 per year, commensurate with experience

What you will do

• Manage client onboarding and compliance gap assessments with client stakeholders.
• Lead analysts through NIST 800-171 gap assessment and remediation projects.
• Review client environments, collect evidence, and evaluate CMMC/NIST control satisfaction.
• Help clients develop compliant policies, procedures, network documentation, and software whitelists.
• Recommend remediation solutions and coordinate compliant configurations and testing with cybersecurity, engineering, and support teams.
• Generate POA&M and SSP documentation and lead discussions with C3PAO auditors during CMMC Level 2 audits.

Requirements

• Proof of US citizenship is required before hire.
• At least five years of experience in the Defense Industrial Base as a compliance analyst or in a related role.
• Strong technical understanding of how NIST controls are implemented, not only what the controls require.
• Current CMMC RP, CCP, or CCA certification.
• Experience working for or with an MSP and C3PAO.
• Knowledge of the NIST Risk Management Framework and CMMC compliance, along with strong client communication and presentation skills.
