Enterprise Asset Manager (CBP)

Location: Ashburn, VA, United States; hybrid workplace. U.S. Citizenship required. Travel as needed. Candidates without an active CBP Background Investigation may enter a processing pipeline that takes months.

What you will do

• Own the program's asset and configuration management approach across the full lifecycle, from acquisition through retirement.
• Build and maintain a trusted system of record for equipment deployed across CBP sites and operations.
• Investigate and close inventory discrepancies, ensuring equipment records match operational reality.
• Coordinate with network, cloud, mobility, security, procurement, and field deployment teams.
• Provide accurate asset data for audits, compliance reviews, refresh planning, security decisions, and budget forecasts.
• Drive change management so technical teams consistently use and update the system of record.

Requirements

• Experience owning an asset or configuration management program at enterprise scale.
• Experience improving adoption of a system of record among technical teams.
• Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews involving asset data.
• Experience with procurement and equipment lifecycle processes.
• Comfort working with asset and configuration management platforms used in federal environments.
• Active CBP Background Investigation and EOD are strongly preferred; U.S. Citizenship is required.
