Enterprise Asset Manager (CBP)

Location: Reston, VA; hybrid, 3 to 5 days per week. U.S. Citizenship required. Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation and EOD required; candidates without a current CBP BI may begin processing.

Salary: $135,000–$160,000 per year. A $10,000 signing bonus is available to candidates with an active CBP BI, payable after 90 days under standard terms.

What you will do

• Build and run the program’s approach to tracking assets across acquisition, deployment, lifecycle management, and retirement.
• Maintain a trusted system of record covering equipment location, condition, ownership, warranty status, refresh timing, and useful life.
• Investigate and close inventory discrepancies and ensure assets are recorded when acquired and retired when decommissioned.
• Drive adoption of the asset management system across network, cloud, mobility, security, and field deployment teams.
• Provide reliable asset data for refresh planning, security and compliance reviews, budgeting, and lifecycle forecasting.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of progressive professional experience in IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, or Enterprise Asset Management, including 3–5 years in a lead or managerial capacity overseeing asset management programs in a large, complex enterprise environment.
• One or more of the following certifications is required: Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM), Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM), ITIL Foundation or higher, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, ability to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation and EOD.
• U.S. Citizenship.

Nice to have

• ITAM, SAM, or EAM experience in hybrid environments involving mobile devices, multi-cloud environments, on-premise systems, data centers, or IoT environments.
• Experience owning asset or configuration management programs at a scale that cannot be tracked manually.
• Experience driving technical teams to update and use a system of record.
• Experience supporting audits or compliance reviews as the owner of the checked data.
• Experience with procurement and lifecycle processes in addition to inventory tools.
• Active CBP BI, a fitness determination at another DHS component, or an active DoD clearance.
• Familiarity with asset and configuration management platforms used in federal environments without dependence on one specific tool.
