IT Configuration Manager

Location: Winter Haven, Florida, United States of America; position associated with a physical company location.

Salary: $116,153.00–$185,543.00 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the enterprise configuration management practice, including CMDB strategy, governance, standards, policies, procedures, operating model, and roadmap execution.
• Oversee CMDB data quality, completeness, accuracy, reconciliation, relationship mapping, lifecycle management, and health metrics.
• Partner with ITSM, service, infrastructure, application, security, audit, and asset management stakeholders to define configuration items, ownership, data requirements, and dependencies.
• Provide trusted configuration data for incident, problem, change, release, asset, risk, audit, and service management processes.
• Manage reporting, dashboards, controls, audits, compliance monitoring, continuous improvement, and stakeholder adoption.
• Lead and develop configuration management staff while evaluating CMDB integrations, discovery improvements, service mapping, automation, and platform enhancements; facilitate annual business attestations of application data and attributes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT Service Management, configuration management, CMDB administration, IT asset management, infrastructure operations, or a related technology discipline, including process improvement or governance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL practices, IT Service Management processes, configuration management principles, CMDB governance, data quality management, service mapping, discovery, and configuration item lifecycle management.
• Ability to lead cross-functional stakeholders, establish standards, influence process adoption, analyze data quality trends, communicate complex technical concepts, and drive continuous improvement in a complex enterprise environment.
• Ability to communicate in person, by phone, and through electronic channels; use a computer frequently; maintain sustained attention to a monitor; and sit, walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation certification.
• ServiceNow certification, CMDB certification, or related ITSM/ITOM training.
