Quality Manager

Location: Onsite in Verona, New York, USA; a hybrid schedule may be considered based on business need.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and administer the organization’s integrated Quality Management System and supporting workflows.
• Lead ISO 9001:2015 certification and CMMI Dev and Services Level 3 appraisal activities, including consultant coordination and internal assessments.
• Track standards, practices, artifacts, compliance mappings, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee supplier quality, procurement compliance, supplier audits, material inspection, and approved supplier processes.
• Implement configuration management and documentation control, including revision control, Engineering Change Orders, and inventory management.
• Train stakeholders, support CMMC reviews and third-party assessments, and advise executive leadership on quality process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, organizational management, or a similar field preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar quality management role.
• Direct experience with the ISO registration and auditing lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of the CMMI appraisal process and experience developing QMS, ISO, and CMMI processes strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal requirements, bid and proposal processes, and contract management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a professional services organization.
• CMMI Practitioner certification or above.
• ISO QMS Internal Auditor training or a similar quality assurance management certification.
