Quality and Compliance Manager

Location: Onsite in Verona, NY, USA, supporting the business headquartered in Oneida, NY. A hybrid work schedule may be considered based on business need.

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, administer, and mature the organization’s integrated Quality Management System and supporting workflows.
• Lead ISO 9001:2015 certification and CMMI Dev and Services Level 3 appraisal efforts, including consultant coordination, documentation, reviews, assessments, renewals, and compliance tracking.
• Train stakeholders, audit adherence to procedures, administer corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement and process maturity.
• Oversee supplier quality, procurement compliance, supplier audits, ratings, corrective actions, approved supplier lists, and material conformance.
• Implement configuration management and documentation control, including revision control, Engineering Change Orders, and inventory management.
• Support CMMC reviews, quality metrics, program management workflows, organizational change management, and executive recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a similar quality or compliance role.
• Direct experience with the ISO registration and auditing lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of and prior exposure to the CMMI appraisal process.
• Experience developing organizational QMS, ISO, and CMMI processes, with the ability to formulate and implement a QMS strategy.
• Working knowledge of applicable federal requirements, bid and proposal processes, and contract management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Organizational Management, or a similar field.
• Experience working in a professional services organization.
• CMMI Practitioner certification or above.
• ISO QMS Internal Auditor Training or similar certification.
• Similar quality assurance management certifications.
