Composite Technician II-2nd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Briggs, Texas, north of Cedar Park; U.S. work authorization required for ITAR compliance.

What you will do

• Fabricate aerospace-grade composite components for primary structures, tanks, and secondary hardware.
• Cut and kit materials to tight tolerances and perform bonding operations, surface preparation, and adhesive application.
• Execute hand lamination using carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, film adhesives, and core materials.
• Perform vacuum bag cure cycles, including debulking, oven monitoring, and curing to manufacturer specifications.
• Interpret composite layup drawings and manufacturing instructions while maintaining material traceability under AS9100.
• Support process improvements, shop organization, and PPE compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of composite manufacturing experience.
• Ability to independently execute composite builds with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with pneumatic tools, hand tools, and precision measurement instruments.
• Ability to read and interpret composite layup and assembly prints and use material data sheets.
• Strong craftsmanship and attention to detail.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations under ITAR.
