Composite Technician III (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Middle River, Maryland, United States

Base pay range: $29–$34 USD per hour

hirify.global is an end-to-end space company building rockets, spacecraft, and critical subsystems, including the Neutron medium-lift launch vehicle.

What you will do

• Build and assemble composite structures for the Neutron launch vehicle, including setup, bonding, and fastener application.
• Laminate assemblies and prepare parts for vacuum bagging with bleeders, thermocouples, probes, and vacuum connections.
• Perform vacuum bag processing, bonding, oven and autoclave curing, and composite core fitting.
• Fit and refurbish thermal protection systems and integrate mechanical hardware.
• Establish reference points and inspect dimensions using calipers, micrometers, precision scales, and torque wrenches.
• Support other hirify.global products locally or travel as required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in composite production, military equipment maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, or manufacturing equipment installation and repair.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• For work in U.S. offices, eligibility under U.S. Government ITAR export regulations is required, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, qualifying refugee or asylum status, or applicable authorization.
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire 8+ hour shift, work at heights and in tight spaces, and perform repetitive physical movements.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment up to 25 lbs, with flexibility for extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts.
