Field Engineer (Automation)

Location: Denham Springs, Louisiana, United States. The role includes on-site customer support, some travel, and requires a valid driver's license. US work authorization is required; the position is not open for relocation.

What you will do

• Serve as lead engineer or project team member for DCS projects.
• Analyze, design, implement, test, and document application software using hirify.global product tools.
• Code or assist with coding and testing custom project software.
• Execute configuration management and quality assurance procedures.
• Interact directly with customers, provide on-site support, and address project software modifications.
• Develop or assist with technical proposals and perform related engineering duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, 4–7 years of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of algorithm design and programming logic.
• Proficient problem-solving capabilities and a self-guided, strong work ethic.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and a valid driver's license.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required, and relocation is not available.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of process instrumentation, control, and automation practices.
