Manufacturing Equipment Development Engineer

What you will do

• Identify manufacturing equipment, automation, capacity, safety, quality, and productivity improvement opportunities.
• Define equipment requirements, specifications, user requirement documents, statements of work, and technical procurement packages.
• Research manufacturing technologies and suppliers, lead RFQ/RFI activities, evaluate quotations, and manage supplier selection.
• Lead capital equipment projects from concept through procurement, installation, commissioning, validation, qualification, and production release.
• Coordinate FAT, SAT, startup, troubleshooting, optimization, training, knowledge transfer, and lifecycle management.
• Support global manufacturing deployments, new product introductions, equipment modernization, and custom mechanical, electrical, controls, or software enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment engineering, capital equipment implementation, automation engineering, or a related field.
• Experience leading equipment projects from concept through production implementation, including sourcing, installation, and qualification.
• Knowledge of automation, robotics, vision systems, material handling, printing, assembly, inspection, converting, programming, or similar industrial equipment.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ validation, PLCs, motion systems, industrial networking, machine vision, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Must be currently and legally authorized to reside and work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
