Manager, Talent Operations & Portfolio

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States

Salary: $92,000–$138,000 per year plus cash incentives

What you will do

• Maintain portfolio views of major North American Talent initiatives, including milestones, risks, dependencies, decisions, and communication impacts.
• Establish project frameworks, templates, workback plans, reporting views, and ways of working that scale with project complexity.
• Own Talent documentation, knowledge management structures, enablement materials, FAQs, operating guides, and version control.
• Define operating processes, workflows, handoffs, escalation paths, retrospectives, and continuous improvement backlogs.
• Coordinate post-go-live HCM stabilization, issue tracking, data audits, remediation, and ownership across Talent Data Management and Talent Systems.
• Launch and govern the Talent project management platform, including dashboards, board templates, reporting, training, and user support.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing cross-functional projects, portfolios, or operational initiatives, ideally in HR, Talent, or People Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management skills covering milestone tracking, risk and issue management, launch readiness, and leadership reporting.
• Experience building, launching, or governing a project management platform or shared operating tool used by multiple teams.
• Experience creating process documentation, job aids, templates, and enablement materials.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills, including influencing without direct authority in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with HCM systems, HR data processes, employee lifecycle workflows, or Talent Operations.
• Experience working in a global subsidiary or highly matrixed, fast-paced environment.
