Commercial Contracts Specialist (SaaS)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid workplace with office attendance encouraged and work from home available one or two days per week.

Salary: $90,000–$165,000 per year, excluding benefits, sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and other incentives.

What you will do

• Optimize deal support by scaling commercial contracting processes, forms, and resources.
• Collaborate with attorneys to structure, negotiate, and close large commercial customer contracts and complex commercial transactions.
• Manage communications with prospective and existing customers throughout the contracting process.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Engineering teams to drive deals through execution.
• Advise internal partners on contract-related questions, tasks, and best practices, escalating issues when necessary.
• Support special projects and build scalable systems that increase the impact of the Commercial Contracting team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial contracting experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating software and SaaS agreements.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, report project metrics, and track contractual terms with meticulous attention to detail and organization.
• Creative and analytical problem-solving skills with adaptability to a changing business landscape.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally using effective communication, strong writing, and customer service skills.
• Experience developing processes and training that improve team efficiency and transparency.
• Willingness and ability to work outside standard business hours as needed.
