Salary: $175,000 – $255,000

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS, software licenses, and vendor agreements.
• Provide business-oriented legal advice to management and stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, IT, and Finance.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare and life sciences laws, as well as data privacy and security regulations.
• Develop and improve contract templates and playbooks.
• Manage and develop legal staff, providing performance reviews and guidance.
• Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and global quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and J.D.
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Bar membership (California preferred or another US state).
• Experience in life sciences, medical devices, or pharmaceutical industries strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work on-site in Alameda, CA.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
