Location: TX - 2121 N. Pearl Street, Dallas, Texas, United States. The work arrangement and proportion of on-site and remote work will be discussed during the interview. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.

Salary: $150,000–$180,000 annually for the Dallas, TX market, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Incentive compensation and a discretionary bonus may also apply.

What you will do

  • Lead credit underwriting for new commercial real estate loan originations.
  • Prepare prescreen materials, loan presentations, approval documents, and closing submissions.
  • Analyze transactions, recommend risk ratings, assess deal-specific risks, and exercise non-credit approval authority within approved limits.
  • Coordinate with client management, market and group heads, asset management, syndications, capital markets, lender’s counsel, and third-party consultants.
  • Monitor loan documentation issues, due diligence, remediation plans, regulatory requests, audits, and data incidents.
  • Build cross-functional partnerships and contribute to commercial real estate business initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of applicable experience in underwriting, structuring, loan closing, documentation, and portfolio management.
  • Expertise in the full credit life cycle and commercial real estate credit.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations, risk management practices, financial risks, and non-financial risks.
  • Advanced financial analysis and modeling skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant financial systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Legal eligibility to work at the specified US location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
