Composite Technician I (Aerospace)

Location: Briggs, Texas, United States; onsite second-shift work Thursday–Saturday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM and every other Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM.

What you will do

• Manufacture composite primary structures, tanks, and secondary structures from raw fiber through delivery to the integration line.
• Cut carbon and other composite materials with hand tools to high tolerances.
• Assist with bonding, surface preparation, hand lamination, vacuum bagging, and cure cycle preparation.
• Monitor oven runs under supervision and cure materials according to manufacturer specifications.
• Read work instructions and assembly prints while maintaining material handling compliance under AS9100.
• Keep the shop organized and use personal protective equipment correctly.

Requirements

• Entry-level position; 0+ years of experience accepted.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to drill and lay out precision holes.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements: U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain the required authorizations.
