What you will do

• Provide relationship-based primary care at the top of the physician assistant license.
• Deliver preventive care, routine wellness visits, chronic disease management, health education, and urgent visits.
• Work autonomously while building trusted, lasting relationships with patients.
• Use clinical resources such as UpToDate and RubiconMD to support patient care.
• Focus on health outcomes rather than patient volume or fee-for-service billing.

Requirements

• Active physician assistant license and current NCCPA board certification.
• Independent practice provider status preferred where permitted by state regulations.
• CPR/BLS certification required by the start date.
• Federal DEA number preferred and potentially required for full prescribing authority.
• Independent family practice experience with wellness care, chronic care management, and urgent visits preferred.
