TL;DR
Physician Assistant (Medtech): Conducting virtual health assessments and managing member care for health insurance members with an accent on preventative care screenings and chronic illness outreach. Focus on diagnosing medical conditions, performing medication reconciliation, and improving access to care through virtual engagement.
Location: Remote (US). Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TX, or VA
Salary: $61.56 - $92.34 per hour

What you will do
- Perform preventative care screenings, complete medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions, and provide health coaching.
- Outreach to chronically ill members and those with a lower probability of seeing their PCP.
- Identify gaps in the member's medical journey to increase access to care with licensed providers.
- Interact with members virtually for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Cross-train into virtual primary care and urgent care service lines.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
Requirements
- PA degree from an accredited program and Board Certification (NCCPA).
- Licensed in Georgia AND one of the following states: Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
- Must reside in one of the approved US states (AZ, AR, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MI, NV, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, PA, TX, or VA).
- 3+ years of experience in outpatient Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care.
- Experience with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) and/or managing HEDIS quality measures.
- Ability to obtain licensure in additional states.
Nice to have
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
