Pod Provider (MD/DO) - Part Time

Location: Charlotte Hub, North Carolina, United States; care delivered face-to-face or virtually in hub, community, or home settings.

Salary: $183,750–$245,000 annual.

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive intake, follow-up, urgent, and preventive clinical visits across in-person and virtual modalities.
• Manage chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease, along with acute and behavioral health concerns.
• Develop member care plans with interdisciplinary clinical and non-clinical teams and participate in case conferences.
• Complete diagnosis capture, ICD-10 and CPT coding, quality-gap documentation, and encounter records within 48 hours.
• Provide clinical guidance on complex cases, panel management, referrals, and member placement across care programs.
• Supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians, maintain collaborative practice agreements, conduct chart reviews, and coach care team members.

Requirements

• MD or DO graduate of an accredited medical college in the United States or Canada, or an unaccredited medical college outside the United States or Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of direct clinical care experience.
• Ability to provide adult primary care, chronic disease management, behavioral health support, and preventive care.
• Ability to complete Cityblock’s medical clearance requirements, including immunity documentation and a TB screen, or obtain an approved accommodation.
